A friend from England just visited. We hung out in coffee shops in Tehran, bargained our way around Isfahan, and were awestruck in Shiraz. She studied art history and archeology and has a penchant for an Islamic arch or two. It made me wonder, how many arches are there in Iran? I doubt I will ever know the answer to my question, but here are some of the ones we saw....

I've just come across it looking for images of Iran. It's fascinating! How old are you? How long are you out there for? And how are you finding it not being back in England. Isn't it tough?
I too am Iranian/English, in that my folks are from Iran but I was born and bred in London. My farsi is OK, not great but I'd really like to improve it. Not sure I could leave my job to spend months with family in Tehran (well I wish I could but its just not feasible) so instead I'm on the hunt for a good tutor here.
Hopefully I'm in Tehran this autumn. I miss Iran and my family so much.
